TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR CAR LEASING

By booking our car rental, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions:

 

  1. Document Required
    1. For Malaysian Citizens
      • IC (MyKad) – Photocopy or photo
      • Valid Driving License (Class D or DA)
      • Flight Itinerary to Kuching / Return
    2. For Foreigners / Tourists
      • Passport (with visa/without) – Photocopy or photo
      • Valid International Driving Permit (IDP) or Home Country License (in English)
      • Flight Itinerary to Kuching / Hotel Booking – For tracking purposes
    3. Rental requirement
      • No minimum or maximum age restriction applies. (with valid driving license).
      • Security deposit (refundable if no claim)
      • Show us the same original documents when you pick up the car.
  2. Rental payment
    Kindly make FULL PAYMENT upon pick up the rental car. We accept Cash, Online Bank Transfer (Instant Transfer/Duitnow), Duitnow QR pay bank/eWallet and Credit Card (Kindly request in advance)
  3. Rental Usage 
    • Prohibited uses in any race, speed test, rally, off-road hill climbing or contest, carrying illegal items, beach, riverbed, or private road;
    • Car rental charges are calculated based on a daily rental rate, with a minimum rental period of one day (24 hours).
    • If your rental duration is less than 24 hours, a full day’s rental fee will still apply.
    • If your rental period exceeds 5 hours, you will be charged the full daily rate for each additional day.
    • The total rental amount is determined based on the details provided at the time of reservation.
  4. Returning the Vehicle
    • You must return the vehicle before or at the end of the hire period to the same address set out.
    • No refunds or rebates will be issued for early returns.
  5. Order Cancellation Policy
    • No cancellations are allowed once the booking is confirmed; otherwise, the booking fee will be forfeited or a cancellation fee of 15% will apply.
    • If you fail to cancel and do not pick up the vehicle (no-show), a cancellation fee of 15% will be charged.
    • To cancel or modify your booking, please contact us at +601158632001 as soon as possible.
  6. Rental car Extension
    • Please inform us at least one day / 3hours in advance to request approval for rental extension.
    • Any extension will be charged accordingly, with additional hourly rates ranging from RM10 to RM100, depending on the car model.
    • After 5 hours, the rental will be counted as one full day.
    • Any request to extend the rental time depends on the availability of the car and the approval from us. We do not guarantee any last-minute extension requests, and we reserved the right to reject your request for extension.
  7. Fuel
    • All vehicles are supplied with at least Half tank or Full tank of fuel and accordingly.
    • The fuel (petrol/diesel) level should be maintained at the same level as when the vehicle was initially picked up by the hirer.
    • Compact RM10-15 / BAR
    • Sedan/Saloon RM10-20 / BAR
    • MPV RM20-40 / BAR
    • SUV RM20-40 / BAR
    • PICKUP RM30-40 / BAR
    • VAN RM35-40 / BAR
  8. Driving area Restrictions
    The use of the rental car is strictly limited to within Miri town. Out of this area, OUTSTATION SURCHARGE will be incurred accordingly. You may request us in advance to get permission for outstation and also liaise with us regarding the rate of every outstation area. Outstation fee does not include fuel, car breakdown, towing fee and repair service due to Pan Borneo road condition.

    A non-negotiable charge of RM300 will be imposed if do not notify us or get prior permission for outstation outside Miri from us.

    Outstation Charges (Applicable for car usage outside Miri area)

    One-time payment as follows:
    ✅ Brunei RM50
    ✅ Marudi – RM50
    ✅ Bintulu – RM50
    ✅ Sarikei, Sibu – RM200
    ✅ Kuching – RM600
    ✅ Limbang – RM80

  9. Accidents
    Regardless of who is at fault, if the vehicle is involved in an accident, is damaged, breaks down, or needs repair or salvage, you must notify us at once.
    1. Third-Party Accident Responsibility
      In the event of an accident or damage caused by a third-party vehicle, the hirer is responsible for obtaining all necessary third-party details, including the vehicle registration number, driver’s name, and driving license number. If a claim cannot be successfully made against the third party’s insurance, all damages will be borne by the hirer, subject to the excess clause as stated above.
    2. Underbody and Overhead Damage
      You are reminded that under-body and overhead damage is at your own risk at all times. Insurance coverage will be void if the vehicle is driven on unsealed, unpaved, or unsuitable roads or surfaces. (Tyres, Windshield, Bodykit Side Skirts, Engine Oil pan)
    3. Accident or Theft Reporting
      In the event of an accident, you must inform us immediately at the scene. You must then follow our instructions and lodge a police report within 24 hours from the time of the accident or from the time you discover any theft or loss. A written police report must be obtained and provided to us.
    4. Towing
      If the vehicle is required to be towed, you will be responsible for the cost of towing the vehicle regardless of who is at the fault for the accident.
  10. Vehicle Insurance
    • Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) / Excess Protection
      Note: Not actual insurance, but a waiver that limits the renter’s liability.
    • Insurance excess (the amount the renter must pay in case of claim, RM1,000-3,000)
      Accident procedure: Must notify us for further within 24 hours.
    • As above the amount renter must contribute towards the cost of repair or replacement of the vehicle or damage to third party property.
    1. CDW / Excess Protection
      By purchasing Excess Protection, you can limit your financial responsibility based on the type of vehicle you rent.For compact cars, the cost is RM20 per day, with an excess amount of up to RM3,500. For sedan cars, it is RM30 per day, with an excess amount of up to RM5,000.

      For MPV, the rate is RM40 per day, with an excess amount of up to RM6,500, while Luxury MPV / SUV / PICKUP are RM50 per day, with an excess amount of up to RM10,000. In the event of damage or loss, you will only be responsible for the specified excess amounts and nothing more. However, if you do not purchase Excess Protection, you will be liable for the full cost of any damages.

      Estimation of repair cost (Not actual price):

      • Broken Lights: RM200 - RM200
      • Per Dent: RM100 - RM1500
      • Per Scratch: RM100 - RM500
      • Per Tyre: RM150 - RM600

      Repair cost varies depending on the car type and model.

    2. Excess Protection applicable requirement
      • The Excess Protection for accident or damage only applicable for collision between two moving cars.
      • Excess Protection does not cover damage to underbody or over body damage (including if the vehicle has a rollover), or towage costs associated with any damage.
      • Any damage while the vehicle is stationary will be under hirer responsibility and subject to the excess clause as mentioned above.
      • Excess protection does not apply for damage as a result of your illegal, negligence, careless actions, car loss, tire punctures, bust tire, fuel errors, lack of electricity because of forgotten turned off electrical devices, loss or damage to the vehicle accessories and damages of windows, mirror and undercarriage.
      • No off-road usage /Off-road usage are not covered with CDW
      • Windscreen & Tyre Coverage – The Excess waiver not applicable for Cracked windscreen, tyre punctures, rim damage.

  11. The hirer is fully responsible for all parking fees, as well as any traffic fines, JPJ summonses, MBM/PDRM compounds, or other penalties incurred during the rental period.

    It is strictly prohibited to smoke and bring smelly food or stuff (eg: durian, raw fish) in the car. RM100 will be charged if we found any unpleasant smell upon the return.
